Wolfburn 7 Year Old Single Malt No. 458 Small Batch Release #7

The seventh small-batch release from Wolfburn - Batch 458 has been crafted from a 50/50 combination of Whisky matured for 7 years in first fill PX sherry butts, married with lightly peated spirit matured in first fill bourbon barrels. The result is a rich, sweet Single Malt with a truly exceptional depth of flavour. Nose: Tracle and coffe notes lead the way, accomapnied by subtle tones of cherry and dried spice. Palate: Hazelnut, almonds and cloves are all present, overlaid with soft peat smoke. Finish: Treacle sweetness remains present until the end, alongside hints of spice. A trace of peat smoke lingers.
