Nestor Winery Fileri Rose

Nestor Winery produces this rosé from Fileri, a lightly aromatic local variety related to Moschofilero and traditionally grown in the southern Peloponnese. Fruit comes from Pyrgaki and Ampelofyto in Trifilia, at 300–400 metres elevation on sandy-clay soils.

The wine undergoes a six-hour cold maceration at 8°C to gently extract colour and aromatics, with no barrel ageing. This keeps the style fresh, floral and fruit-forward.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale rosé with soft pink and golden highlights.

Nose: Fresh red fruit with delicate flowers, herbs and basil.

Palate: Dry and balanced, with juicy fruit, gentle floral character and refreshing acidity.

Finish: Clean and lightly herbal, with lingering fruit and subtle Mediterranean herbs.
