This malt whiskey surprises because its elegance and complexity transcend its young age. The whiskey sparkles with its fresh and fruity character and delicate smokiness. The unique qualities of this whiskey come from the use of a crystal clear wort that ferments coldly and slowly before being distilled with an early cut point at the end of the middle barrel. After distillation, this whiskey was fully matured in Amarone wine barrels. The maturation in these barrels gives the whiskey its beautiful color and enhances the elegant fruity notes of this whiskey that go so beautifully with the delicate smoky notes.
