Fat and concentrated, the mouth ends with intense liquorice aromas. Vineyard: It extends over almost the entire commune of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and over certain areas of the same nature in the four neighboring communes (Bédarrides, Courthézon, Orange and Sorgues). Soils: more or less deep, very stony, they are essentially made up of large rolled quartz mixed with sandy red clay.
