Tullibardine 16 Year Old Wine Cask Finish (Hart Brothers)

Tullibardine single malt whisky distilled in June 2005 and bottled by Hart Brothers in June 2021. This whisky was finished in a Cardeira Wine cask. Nose: Stone and red fruits, with sugar barley sweetness and a touch of cinnamon. Palate: Chewy and slightly clinging mouthfeel. The fruit character is more berry compote and soft citrus peel in the mouth. There are also some sweet spices in the background along with a touch of oak. Finish: Medium length, the sweetness slowly fades leaving wood spice.
