The Gauldrons Sherry Cask Finish Campbeltown Blended Malt

A limited-edition of Douglas Laings Campbeltown blended malt, The Gauldrons, that has spent a time finishing in Spanish oak sherry casks before bottling, creating layers of fruit and spice that balance the savoury smoke that Campbeltown is known for. Aromas of toffee apples, marshmallows, caramel and candyfloss mingle with dry smoke on the nose, complemented by notes of crème brûlée, ginger, nutmeg, strawberries with black pepper, savoury smoked barley and tart stewed fruit throughout the palate.
