Tenuta Izzolini Paternum

PATERNUM is a red wine IGT Calabria defined as an excellence of the Tenuta Iuzzolini winery. Aged in oak barriques for 18 months, it has a particularly intense purple red color, with light purple nuances. It has an intense, delicate aroma, opening with wild berries to then elevate into rich and persistent spicy hints of vanilla, with balsamic notes. The flavor is warm and velvety on the palate, broad, complex, long and persistent. Great structure and longevity. It goes well with roast meat dishes, lamb, wild boar and game. It prefers hard, tasty and spicy cheeses.
