The nature of a blend is characterised by the varietals chosen as partners, as well as the maturation itself. Pinot Noir, St. Laurent and Zweigelt are matured seperately in 600-liter-barrels of austrian oak, before the cuvée rests another year in large 2500-liter-casks in order to grow together. The final product is a wine that seamlessly partners smooth drinkability with spicy notes and harmoneous tannins on the finish and it is great company with an array of foods. The wine undergoes only a slight filtration and may contain sediments.
