Rooster Rojo Reposado Tequila

Rooster Rojo Reposado Tequila comes from the Mexican city of Tequila in the state of Jalisco. It is produced in the Fabrica de Tequilas Finos distillery, from where you can see the Tequila volcano. Its shape served as an inspiration for the bottle design. Another symbol of Mexico also plays an important role there: the red cock, king of the cocks. It adorns the bottles and gives the Rooster Rojo brand its name.For the tequila, the hearts, the piñas, blue weaver ragave, are boiled, fermented and distilled. The brandy is mixed with water filtered by Mexican silver. Rooster Rojo is the first tequila brand to use this filtering method.Reposado Tequila is a barrel matured product. Accordingly, the initially clear drink spends at least two months in French oak barrels and thus receives its beautiful colouring and the associated aromas and taste nuances.
