Reservoir Distillery Bourbon

The Reservoir distillery in Richmond, Virginia, uses a rather interesting mashbill for their bourbon - 100% corn. Thats it. Theyve given corn the stage to showcase what it can do all by itself, and theyve come up with a cracking expression, which is aged in casks smaller than you would find at your average bourbon distillery, increasing surface area to distillate ratio. Reservoir Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes Nose: Very sweet. Like candy sweet, not baking sweet. Palate: Reservoir’s signature laser-like intensity on the palate. Finish: More oranges, with nuts and cereal on the finish.
