Perrin La Vielle Fereme Rose

Famille Perrin, one of the Rhône Valley’s most respected wine families, produces La Vieille Ferme as an accessible expression of southern French winemaking. Known for their commitment to sustainable and organic practices, the Perrins focus on consistency and regional character.

The Rosé is typically a blend of Mediterranean varieties such as Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah, sourced from vineyards in the Ventoux and surrounding Rhône regions. These areas benefit from warm days and cooling influences from elevation, helping preserve freshness and balance.

Winemaking involves direct pressing or short skin contact to achieve its pale colour, followed by fermentation in stainless steel to maintain aromatic purity and a crisp profile.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale pink with salmon hues
Nose: Aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and red currant, with hints of citrus and floral notes
Palate: Light-bodied and crisp, with flavours of red berries, watermelon, and a touch of citrus, supported by refreshing acidity
Finish: Clean and lively, with lingering fruit and a dry, refreshing finish

Cellaring & Pairings
Best enjoyed young within 1–2 years of vintage to preserve its freshness and vibrancy.
Pairs well with salads, seafood, grilled vegetables, and light poultry dishes. Also complements Mediterranean cuisine, charcuterie, and soft cheeses.
