Old Malt Cask Linkwood 2002 18 Year Old

Distilled at Linkwood distillery in June 2002 and matured in a refill hogshead for 18 years before bottling in May 2021, this single cask expression forms part of independent bottler Hunter Laing & Cos Old Malt Cask range. Just 77 bottles have been produced, each one at a strength of 50% abv. The nose is sweet with meringue, soft fruits, and strawberries. The palate has notes of apples, butter shortcake, and vanilla before giving way to a pleasant and satisfying fruity finish.
