King's Inch Single Malt

King’s Inch Glasgow Single Malt Whisky has been painstakingly distilled for an exceptionally characterful and smooth Lowland Single Malt. Named after the old imperial measurement of an inch, and a forgotten island in the Clyde, our first bottling is an approachable contemporary single malt with exceptional character. Distilled with West-Coast malt, innovative distillation methods and water drawn from Loch Katrine- it has spent just the right amount of time in hand-selected Bourbon and Oloroso casks before making its way in the world. Bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill filtered, it is a whisky of exceptional length and character. Nose: Fresh green apple, softening to verdant barley, sweet vanilla and caramelised sugar. Palate: On a first taste, subtle citrus, green apple and hints of pineapple are quickly joined by rich espresso coffee, molasses and notes of chocolate powder. Finish: Long and warming, with rich buttered toffee, black pepper and sweet spice notes of clove, cinnamon and ginger.
