JoieFarm makes A Noble Blend in the spirit of Edelzwicker, a traditional aromatic blend produced in France for centuries. This wine was created out of respect for old world traditions while learning how to make wine in our relatively young, new world winemaking region. The 2023 A Noble Blend is a classic blend of Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. This wine, kissed by the Summer Okanagan sun, exudes warm citrus and heritage orchard fruit aromas (white peaches, green apple). The palate offers playful tension with bright citrus, rose petal, lychee, and savoury undertones (spicy thai basil, fennel). Intense aromatics, a round mouthfeel, and linear acidity create balance. Skillfully crafted for versatile pairing or delightful standalone enjoyment, it promises a harmonious experience.
