Farnese Edizione Cinque Autoctoni

antini (formerly Farnese Vini) is a leading producer in southern Italy, known for crafting bold, expressive wines from native grape varieties. “Edizione Cinque Autoctoni” is their flagship wine, made from a blend of five indigenous grapes, typically including Montepulciano, Primitivo, Sangiovese, Negroamaro, and Malvasia Nera (blend may vary slightly by vintage).

The grapes are sourced from regions across southern Italy, including Abruzzo and Puglia, where warm climates allow for full ripening and concentration. Yields are kept low to enhance intensity and depth.

Fermentation is carried out with careful extraction, followed by ageing in oak barrels to integrate tannins and add layers of spice, chocolate, and texture. The wine is crafted in a bold, modern style, emphasizing richness and polish.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Deep ruby to inky purple
