Elements of Islay CL14 Single Malt

A fruity, smoky limited-edition Caol Ila single malt from the Elements of Islay series, Cl14 is a marriage of four casks - one 2015 American oak hogshead, two 2012 ex-oloroso sherry butts and one 2013 ex-oloroso sherry butt. Aromas of coastal smoke, fruit chutney, smoked mackerel, savoury herbs and sweet caramel fill the nose, complemented by notes of dried fruit, raspberry coulis, cherries, orange peel, dark chocolate, bonfire embers, rich smoke and warm spices throughout the palate.
