Efrat Judean Hills Riesling French Colombard (Mevushal)

Efrat Winery is one of Israel’s established producers, known for crafting accessible, kosher wines that reflect regional character. The Judean Hills region, located west of Jerusalem, offers elevated vineyard sites with warm days and cooler nights, allowing grapes to ripen while maintaining acidity.

This Riesling is produced under kosher certification and is mevushal, meaning it has been flash-pasteurized under rabbinical supervision, allowing it to be handled and served more flexibly while maintaining kosher status.

The winemaking focuses on freshness and approachability. Fermentation is typically carried out in stainless steel to preserve aromatics and fruit clarity, with little to no oak influence. The style often leans toward dry to off-dry, depending on the vintage.
