Deerfield Ranch T-Rex

T-Rex is styled after the Super Tuscans, the great wine blends of Tuscany. T-Rex celebrates the Rex Familys Italian heritage and the winemakers art. We accentuated the dark strawberry flavor of the Sangiovese with Malbec. Syrah fills in the bottom palate. Petit Verdot pulls the flavors forward, and Merlot adds to the nose. It was Barrel aged for 24 months in our cave. T-Rex pairs well with Italian fare and rich sauces. We produced 350 cases. 66% Sangiovese 13% Malbec 8% Syrah 4% Zinfandel 2% Merlot
