The alcoholic fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks at 26º to get structure and color. After 12 days maceration malolactic in oak barrels follows and 32 months of aging in French and American oak barrels. This wine is the crown jewel for Bodegas Valdemar. They just make this wine when the quality of the grapes are outstanding to make sure they maintain their premium quality standards of this wine through the vintages. The ageing potential is superb for the Gran Reserva. This wine displays attractive red cherry color with a burgundy rim. Potent spicy aromas, together with vanilla and cocoa notes.
