A single cask Blair Athol, brought to us by The Red Cask Co., who specialise in sherry cask matured whiskies. This highland treat was distilled in Pitlochry at Blair Athol distillery in 2013.  It was racked for maturation for 9 years including time spent in a 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead, before being bottled at cask strength with no added colour or chill filtration. Official Tasting Notes Nose – Burst of vanilla, toffee and gingerbread. Palate – Warm popping candy, cherries, sweet apples, and figs. Finish – Long lasting roasted chestnuts and hints of toffee.
