On the nose, a bouquet of dark cherry liqueur chocolates with grated nutmeg, initially nose drying and eucalyptus. Rum Toft in the development with plums, peaches, and oranges, becoming more savoury: a marmalade-glazed smoked ham (rested), and sweet smoked cheese notes. An oily, mouth filling texture, starting tangy with a mid palate of dried seaweed and sea salt, then roasted sweet chestnuts, new hessian, and autumnal bonfires.
