Sugar Loaf Pinot Noir

Sugar Loaf Wines is a family-owned Marlborough producer founded in 2004, now farming approximately 26 hectares of estate vineyards. The Pinot Noir comes entirely from the winery’s hillside vineyard in the Southern Valleys, an area known for clay-rich slopes that give Pinot Noir greater depth and structure than many valley-floor sites.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright ruby red.

Nose: Red plum, summer berries, cocoa and liquorice with subtle toasted spice.

Palate: Elegant and juicy, with ripe plum and berry fruit, savoury black pepper and soft, supple tannins.

Finish: Smooth and lingering with red fruit, spice and restrained toasted oak.
