Huber Terrassen GV

Weingut Markus Huber is based in Austria’s Traisental, where steep terraces and limestone-rich conglomerate soils give Grüner Veltliner its characteristic freshness, spice and mineral definition. Cool Alpine air meeting warmer influences from the Danube creates significant day-to-night temperature swings, helping preserve acidity and aromatic intensity.

Terrassen is 100% Grüner Veltliner, selected from multiple vineyards across the Traisental, with vines ranging from approximately 5 to 80 years old. The grapes receive six hours of skin contact before pressing, followed by fermentation in stainless steel and three months of lees ageing, preserving freshness while adding texture.

Nose: Green apple and yellow fruit with aromatic herbs and classic white pepper.

Palate: Fresh and concentrated, with orchard fruit, lively acidity and distinctly mineral structure.
