Huber GV Blanc de Blancs

Weingut Markus Huber is based in the Traisental region of Lower Austria, an area known for steep vineyards and limestone-rich soils. This Blanc de Blancs is classified as Sekt Austria Reserve and draws its fruit from the Traisental’s chalky soils.

The current 2022* release blends Grüner Veltliner and Chardonnay. Whole clusters are pressed before fermentation, followed by ageing of the base wine in stainless steel and large wooden casks.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Pale straw-gold with fine, persistent bubbles.

Nose: Green apple and citrus with delicate herbs and subtle stone fruit.

Palate: Juicy and energetic, with apple, lemon and vineyard peach balanced by fresh acidity and fine mineral character.

Finish: Long and dry, with citrus, gentle herbal spice and an elegant, persistent mousse.
