Faber Riche Shiraz 2023

Faber Vineyard was founded in 1997 by winemaker John Griffiths and Jane Micallef in Baskerville, Swan Valley. The estate focuses on traditional regional varieties, particularly Shiraz, using warm-climate fruit to produce rich, flavourful wines with enough structure to develop in bottle.

The 2023 Riche Shiraz comes from Swan Valley fruit and reflects a particularly successful vintage for the region. The wine is matured in seasoned French and American oak, adding texture and spice without overwhelming the fruit.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright crimson-red.

Nose: Raspberry, ripe plum and blackberry with gentle floral notes and subtle oak spice.

Palate: Medium-bodied and juicy, with plush plum and blackberry balanced by lively red fruit, soft tannins and well-integrated oak.

Finish: Smooth and persistent, with lingering dark berries, spice and gentle savoury notes.
